Well, tomorrow is my last day of school for this semester. Holy cow has time flown by!! It feels like I just got started here. And then in 3 weeks I will be moving home. Aaaaahhhhh!!!!!! This is so crazy and I am so ready to be done with this semester. It's crazy. Seriously. I have learned so much about myself and how to live on my own. I for sure was not ready when I moved out, but in all honesty I don't think I will have ever been ready to move out on my own. This was an awesome experience but I am ready to be home for a little bit and to be a little closer to home when I actually move out after a small amount of time. I'm ready to be home. Well, that's my update. It's so fun. But I'm done. Maybe I'll post sooner next time

Stats Recitations
Okay, this is totally a venting post. In college, well, at least at USU, you have a stats class, and then you have a recitations class. Well, you don't get credit for a recitations class. You learn in a large lecture hall, and then you go to a zero credit class and break into groups with an aid hovering over your shoulder. I understand that this is to help you to understand the material, and be able to pass the class well, but, if I'm not getting credit for it, I'm not going to go! I'm sorry, but I find very little point in going to a required study group. If I wanted to work in a study group, I would make one myself. Thanks, but no thanks. I will just pass the class without your help. Well, so I haven't been going to my recitations, because why go, and my teacher sent me an email reminding me that studies show that recitations helps you pass your classes. Well, you know what? I don't care. I am still doing well in the class and I hate going because stats is not real math. It's stupid. It's science. So, save your breath and tell someone who actually cares. Thanks! Okay, rant over.

Update
Wow, life at college. . .what to say? I absolutely love my roommates. Every once and a while, we have little moments of, well, I don't agree with you, but this is not that important to argue over, so nothing has happened. We seriously get along very well, and it's awesome! Just a little moment of frustration, my friend B really reads into things. It's bad. She is assuming things left and right and I love her so incredibly much, but sometimes I get really frustrated with her. But, it's a silly thing and nothing we need to fight over. This same friend is also starting her mission papers!! Holy cow! I am so many friends that will be gone by next summer! Missions all over the place! It's amazing to see all of my friends serve the Lord. I know that they are serving to bring people to this beautiful gospel. I am so proud of all of them!
So, there is this thing called "Cleaning the sink" at Angie's, and you literally eat an entire sink full of ice cream and all of those glorious toppings. Mmmm mmm. We were going to go for one of my friends birthdays earlier this week, but no. The crazy girl down stairs had to do something huge for him. Man that girl drives me nuts. Anyway, that is current college life, and yes it's hard, but it is so much fun! I can't wait to see what else we will do this year!

adjustments
This has been harder than I thought... And it is really hard to keep good spirits when everyone and everything around you is negative. I miss my mom. My dad. My brother. My dog. Tiff. Her family. Everyone. And it's so hard to keep that positive attitude when your best friend, who doesn't cry, ever, cries because she doesn't feel right about where she is right now. I just want to take a break and cry, but I don't have time. I have so much homework and I don't know if I have time for a job! I have been trying but no one has responded and this just isn't good. I thought I couldn't manage 8 classes. That was a piece of cake! Now I have 5 classes, and I want to break down. I need some good sort of stress release that allows me to study at the same time...aaaaahhhhhhh. That's all. Thank you for letting me vent!!

college
So today in my Latin class, my professor said something pretty incredible to me. We were talking about majors and why I was in Latin class and I told him that I was a math ed major. He loved that I was taking Latin and doing math. One thing he described to me was that he hated math because he is a history man. He was never taught math with a history sense. The Hebrew's did math by writing it all out word for word. They didn't use symbols. Symbols were used much later in history. The symbols were actually added by some Philosopher that spoke Latin and it enabled the people to go further in math! The entire time we were having this conversation, I kept thinking to myself that I could possibly change the face of math curriculum. Or my students would think that I am crazy. Either way, that would be so cool! My professor also said that if he would have known that stuff earlier in life, he probably would have loved math so much more. It's crazy how life goes. He became a Latin professor when he could have done something with math. Holy molar, God's plan is amazing and real! Anyway, I found that super interesting and I thought that I should share it with you. Have a great day!

screw it
So, I have given up on this whole write every day thing, its just dumb, but I am going to try to post more. As of yesterday I moved up to college and it has been a blast! Today, there was this thing called taste of Logan and local restaurants give out free samples. People have said that they may be way small portions, but there are so many that by the time you are done, you are full. Well, it poured rain today...The only thing we knew about this place was that it was taking place on Main Street. It was on Main Street, but it was on one end of main street. We freaking parked a mile away from the event. I kid you not. So we walked forever in the pouring rain and just lived it up. It was so fun! Then we had a quarter of a cookie and a small drink and hiked it back to our car, which was by Chick-Fil-A so we stopped there instead. We then continued to our dorm and watched a super intense movie and now we are here:) I just love this stuff so much! Sure it was hard leaving home, but this is so worth it! I'll keep you updated on the fun stuff!!

Day 21
Today has felt like this..
I didn't do squat because my parents are out of town and have no contact with us, so I slept in, and did nothing. Literally. After this ridiculous week, I just wanted to relax. It was so wonderful! I also got ready for absolutely no reason, and it was wonderful! I just let today be me, and all was amazing. It has been a long time since I have had a day like this, and it was amazing! Oh boy, that is all I can say...Anyway, I hope your day was just as wonderful!

Days 16-20
Oh my word, this week has been so crazy! For the past four days I have been working like crazy! I have been babysitting for my guard instructor from 7:30-4 pm and then at my other job from 5-11 pm. All I have really done this week is work, sleep, and eat. Which is kinda sad, but at the same time, my paycheck is going to be beautiful! Ahhhh, I'm so excited to get paid from my night job! I will be paid at least $400! aaahhh! And, an extra bonus, Saturday is my last day at my night job! Woohoo!! I was offered my job back when it comes summer time, but, I really don't want it. I would rather get a different job. That pays higher. Because minimum is NOT enough to live off of. It's a great starting thing, but if I am going to support myself, then I have to get a higher paying job! I can't wait for Saturday!! Yeah!! Oh my heavens, can you tell I'm a little bit excited? Also, don't expect anything next week either. I will be in Delta with the band! Holy molar my life is so much better! Wa-freaking- hoo!! Anyway, that is my life as of current. Love you all!

Day 14 and 15
Wow, has it been a crazy 2 days. Lets start with yesterday.
Yesterday my aunt, cousin, and cousins girlfriend came into town to spend the weekend with us and it was so nice yesterday. We went down to Bajio's down in Provo and it was just beautiful. The Riverwoods down in Provo and just amazing. Here, enjoy this beautiful picture that I took!

Do you see what I mean! Oh man, I just love Provo! We just had so much fun last night, just sitting under those lights and just talking!
Today we went and got shakes at JCW's and after I went to a friends house to watch the fireworks for the Highland Fling. Those were some pretty fireworks. And then this amazing friend gave me and two other friends gifts for moving out to college. She is just to freaking thoughtful! Love her to death! Well, that has been my fun past two days. I hope you have had just as much fun as I have!

Day 13
Oh my heavens I got to sleep in today! By sleeping in I mean like 9 a.m. I went visiting teaching for my first time and I just absolutely loved it! This church is true!! Today was also a lot of birthdays. My friend from work, a friend from guard, my aunt, and Harry Potter. Holy molar that's quite a few birthdays! So for my aunts birthday I got her balloons and some beautiful flowers and watched her kids while she and her husband went to see the most beautiful play ever!!!
Yes that is right. Wicked is showing in Salt Lake on her birthday! How fun for her! Her kids and I also had just so much fun! We played outside, ate some delicious pizza, and watched Rio 2. By that point we got ready for bed and I cleaned the house like crazy. The kids and I made a fairly large mess and I also did some dishes and cleaned their stove. I actually enjoyed myself. Which is weird. Anyway, I had so much fun today. If every day goes like this, I will be moving out before I know it! I hope your day was a amazing!

Day 11 and 12
Well, yesterday wasn't all that interesting. I just worked all day and sat with one of my best friend while she was having a continuous asthma attack. It hasn't left in like 3 days, its fine. Anyway, today wasn't all that exciting. I worked again. Which is pretty boring! I'm so sorry that my life isn't very exciting. I really do try, but sometimes it just doesn't happen very well. Anyway, I am just so tired, but I had to post on my blog. Thank you for reading it, the two of you that do. I'm sure you are already bored. Well, the Church is true, the Book is blue, and I love you!

Day 10
I had actually so much fun today! I woke up and watched some of the best kids ever! Yes, sometimes I ruin Wii games, and I am a fun wrecker, but hey, these aren't my rules. I'm just following mom and dad's rules. Take it up with them :) Anyway, that is only sometimes. They are such a fun bunch of kids and I love every day that I get to spend with them! Well, today after I watched them, they left for Disney Land. . .I am super jealous, but they are going to have so much fun! They always do. Well, then I thought that I would be enjoying the rest of my day to myself but I ended up getting called into work because they were short and backing up really bad. So, I saved the day. I know, I know, "Ginger" you saint! Why, thank you, thank you. Just doing my services for the common good. You know, *clear throat* *toss, toss, with no hair*. Also, my visiting teacher came to visit me today and I just love her so much! She brought me these beautiful sunflowers and another beautiful message from the gospel. I don't know what I would do without this gospel in my life. It has helped me so much and it is so sad to see people who don't have this and don't understand that you know, just because you had a miscarriage, does not mean that that child is lost forever. Or that you can be with your family forever. We just have to spread this happiness! It is just so wonderful!! Anyway, that has been my beautiful day, I hope yours was just a grand!

Day 7, 8, and 9
Wow, these past 3 days have been eventful! Friday I worked until 7 pm and that was a fun shift. In all actuality, it was really boring. For some reason, all week we have been really slow. That never makes for a fun shift. But I worked through it and I earned my money! Right after work I went home, quickly changed and ate some cereal for dinner. After that I drove up to Heber Valley for our family reunion. It was fun, but I have had more fun in the past. So that was a little upsetting. We also stayed up all night playing scum and I was the only one from my family that stayed at Hever Valley all night. Such pansies. I didn't sleep very well anyway. In the morning we went on a beautiful hike to Legacy Lake. We then returned and ate lunch and Ryan and I helped some of the grand kids make some bird houses. They were so proud of themselves. It was super cute! We then were canoeing and paddle boating on Legacy Lake. Such a pretty place huh?
After that we were done for the day and I was a little grumpy the rest of the day at home because I was really hungry and I was super tired. Anyway, today was super crazy. We went down to Grandma and Grandpas house for dinner, since some members of the family didn't get to Heber until about noon on Saturday, so we had some more time with them. Anyway, my grandparents have a peacock and a peahen on their farm. Don't ask my why, I don't know. But, we came outside to find that they were both looking at themselves in the reflection of our black car. That was fine, but then they started attacking their reflection. A.K.A. our car. Great! So we shooed them off and went back inside. As we came out, we were looking at our car and they had taken a running start at our car and put some really good scratches at the bumpers. Thank you...Quickly we found them at my aunts dark grey car doing the same thing, but, they would open their wings and fly up a little bit and take their claws and scratch the car...That caused a lot more damage. You stupid birds.
Anyway, that has been our crazy weekend. Hope yours was just as eventful!

Day 6
Happy Pioneer Day! Only in Utah will you have the 24th of July be a holiday. Anyway, today was pretty cool! I got to sleep in a little bit, and watch my girls on t.v.! They were in the parade and they did so well! I am so proud of them. That was a lot of fun to watch. After I watched the parade, I went to work. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't a very busy day so most of what I did was busy work. For 8 hours, so that's cool. After work, I was able to come home and relax. Finally! I ate some dinner and watched The Lego Movie with my parents. I have seen it before with the kids I babysit, but my parents have never seen it. Needless to say, my dad was like a kid in a candy store. He loved every minute of it and he could not get that silly grin off of his face. Bless his little heart. OOHH!! We made a pinata today too! We have our family reunion tomorrow-Saturday, so I won't be writing on this blog until then, so. I will miss a day by a little bit. No need to panic! Anyway, it's a cool looking pinata. I can't wait to smash it! My adventures have yet to really begin, but I can't wait for them to start in less than one month! AAAAHHHHH!!!! I'm so excited but nervous at the same time!! Yay!
This is the official quote of the day. I think of it as "Try to be a happy thought for someone during their success." Which is important. We need to support each other in our successes. Not many people do that anymore and it is upsetting. Anyway, hope your day was wonderful!

Day 5
Today has been. . .interesting. I baby sat, like normal, and it was a really good! I sure love those kids! Well, then I went to work and I have been doing my job for a year and a half. I think I know what I'm doing by this point right? Apparently not. . .I was told that I would burn myself on dry ice so I was not allowed to get it from the cooler, and he has shocked that I knew how to package it. Um, excuse me. I handle this crap every day 5 days a week. Don't treat me like I'm 5. Okay, rant over on that subject. Anyway, then my brother and his friend posted the most ridiculous picture on social media. Oh bless their dear hearts! Anyway, tomorrow my girls are marching in the Days of '47 parade! They haven't done this parade in like 4 years? Either way, I haven't ever done this parade, so that's awesome! They will be great! And that has been my day! Love you lots!

Day 4
Today was just, good. I was scheduled to work for 8 hours, and I did, but it didn't seem like 8 hours. Time just kind of went by, and it was nice. No rush to do anything, but it wasn't completely dead. So that was good! Then I came home to a beautifully cooked meal by my mother. Honey Lime Enchiladas with Mexican rice. YUMMY!!! Finally, to top off a pretty good day, the friends decided to get together. We played so many fun games! Well, okay, only 2 games. But they were both really fun. The first was called 5 second rule and the other was Banana Grams. So. Much. Fun!! I love that we can just get together and just have fun. Even though all of the friends weren't there. It was still a blast! And in keeping with tradition, here is a picture. That happens to also be a quote!
I just love Disney. They always have something entertaining, but you can always find wisdom. Love it!

Day 3
I recently saw this quote that said, "Friendship is so weird, you just pick a human you've met and you're like, 'yep, I like this one' and you just do stuff together." -unknown. This quote is so true! I have met all of my friends this way, and I just love them, and I am so grateful for them in my life! So, with them being so important, I would like to introduce them to you.
This girl, my goodness. She is so important to me! The first time we met was when I was with her, her sister, and another friend. Her sister and the other friend disappeared and we were left all by our lonesome and it was kinda weird. But, from that point on, we have just been really close. I don't know where I would be in this life. She is amazing!
These three girls! Where to begin? I didn't become their friend until my senior year. I knew them before and we were friends before, but now we are really friends! We have definitely had our rough spots, but I can for sure say that they have helped me learn so much! Let me just tell you about their futures, Babe on the far left is leaving for a mission to London, England in October and she is just going to be the most amazing missionary! The two hotties in the middle, well, I am moving up to college with them and they are both going into social work. They are so ready for this adventure, my goodness I can't wait to see what they are going to do with their lives!
This woman has played one of the biggest roles in my life. I am currently watching her kids and it is one of the best jobs ever! They are crazy kids, but they are helping me to prepare for me to be a better mom! The life lessons she has provided for me, oh my goodness I will never be able to repay her. She has been my guard director from the very beginning and I am so grateful for her. She is my very best friend!
Now these are only a few of my friends, but these women have impacted me more than they can imagine. I just thought that I would share my love for them! I hope you have found someone that you could say the same about!
Much love, The Ginger

Day 2
Today in church we had 2 mission farewells. I don't know either of them very well, but I do know both of them because I grew up with them. But, for the longest time I never really talked to one in particular because I thought he was part of the "popular" crowd, and he is, but I realized as I was in his house with some of my friends that were also really close friends of his, anyway, I realized that if we put down that social classification of popular and not, we are all really cool people. The only reason that most people are classified as "cool" is because of people like the "band kids" or the "science geeks" or even the "math nerds" that think they aren't "cool" enough to talk to them. Yes, there are people that think they are high and mighty, and there are people who are just naturally really weird and awkward to talk to. But if you just open up and smile, laugh, and be genuine, they will talk to you. I experienced this happening today and it was really cool. This boy gave me a hug and said "Thank you for coming! I really appreciate you coming to support me. That means so much!" He was actually being genuine. There was no fake smile on his face. There was nothing in his eyes that said, "Oh my gosh, why are you here? You are so awkward." Nothing like that at all. It's really sad to know that I could have had a really good friend for all of these years if I would have just given them a chance to say something. So, as I move up to college in one month, I am going to keep this in mind. Give people a chance. They deserve it, and so do you. This boy will be a great missionary, and I can't wait to see what he does with the rest of his life after he serves the Lord for two years.
I just love this quote, and it fits what I have to say.
LOVE Elder Holland!!

Day 1
Wow. Today has been crazy!! But, it's only 50 minutes into the day you say? Why yes, yes it is. Such is the life of a young adult. So if we were talking in that context, yesterday was a crazy day! Well, lets start with Friday night. Soon after I created this blog, my family and I went to see MoTab's concert with Santino Fontana. If you don't know him, he is the man who voiced Hans in Frozen. So, pretty much, his voice is a dream and his character was the devil. It's fine. Here, enjoy a beautiful picture of him!
Yes my friends, it was a beautiful concert and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Now on to today/yesterday. A.K.A Saturday. I got the opportunity to march with my guard girls again!! Oh how I miss them. . .This was an opportunity I never thought I would get again! To spin with my senior friends and with most of my girls. Oh it was beautiful and I just miss guard. Well, what was the opportunity you might ask? Well, it was a parade. But a short parade. Don't worry, I wouldn't kill myself. Except for I almost did kill myself. See, the parents do a breakfast before the parade and when the band comes around the corner, we play the parade tunes one after the other without the drum cadence in between. Holy molar that is so hard! The majority of the work was with your right arm, and wow am I sore! Not only that, but after the parade I had to go to work for 8.5 hours! I was lifting crap and just wanting to cry, so, I didn't cry and stayed for the whole shift. . .so. much. fun. let me tell you. Anyway, it was just great to see my girls again, and I was just so happy! I can't wait to go down to band camp with them and help them become the best spinners that they can become!
Also, enjoy a picture of me with my girls and just my super-seniors! Sure love them all!
Oh girls, thank you for letting me come back!!
Is is just me, or do I look a little too excited?
Thanks for reading my blabber!! Much love, the ginger.

I am starting with a couple of friends and then I am making new friends. I am so ready for this, it is crazy! Alright, here we go!!
