Stats Recitations

Okay, this is totally a venting post. In college, well, at least at USU, you have a stats class, and then you have a recitations class. Well, you don't get credit for a recitations class. You learn in a large lecture hall, and then you go to a zero credit class and break into groups with an aid hovering over your shoulder. I understand that this is to help you to understand the material, and be able to pass the class well, but, if I'm not getting credit for it, I'm not going to go! I'm sorry, but I find very little point in going to a required study group. If I wanted to work in a study group, I would make one myself. Thanks, but no thanks. I will just pass the class without your help. Well, so I haven't been going to my recitations, because why go, and my teacher sent me an email reminding me that studies show that recitations helps you pass your classes. Well, you know what? I don't care. I am still doing well in the class and I hate going because stats is not real math. It's stupid. It's science. So, save your breath and tell someone who actually cares. Thanks! Okay, rant over.

Much love, The Ginger
