Day 7, 8, and 9

Wow, these past 3 days have been eventful! Friday I worked until 7 pm and that was a fun shift. In all actuality, it was really boring. For some reason, all week we have been really slow. That never makes for a fun shift. But I worked through it and I earned my money! Right after work I went home, quickly changed and ate some cereal for dinner. After that I drove up to Heber Valley for our family reunion. It was fun, but I have had more fun in the past. So that was a little upsetting. We also stayed up all night playing scum and I was the only one from my family that stayed at Hever Valley all night. Such pansies. I didn't sleep very well anyway. In the morning we went on a beautiful hike to Legacy Lake. We then returned and ate lunch and Ryan and I helped some of the grand kids make some bird houses. They were so proud of themselves. It was super cute! We then were canoeing and paddle boating on Legacy Lake. Such a pretty place huh?

After that we were done for the day and I was a little grumpy the rest of the day at home because I was really hungry and I was super tired. Anyway, today was super crazy. We went down to Grandma and Grandpas house for dinner, since some members of the family didn't get to Heber until about noon on Saturday, so we had some more time with them. Anyway, my grandparents have a peacock and a peahen on their farm. Don't ask my why, I don't know. But, we came outside to find that they were both looking at themselves in the reflection of our black car. That was fine, but then they started attacking their reflection. A.K.A. our car. Great! So we shooed them off and went back inside. As we came out, we were looking at our car and they had taken a running start at our car and put some really good scratches at the bumpers. Thank you...Quickly we found them at my aunts dark grey car doing the same thing, but, they would open their wings and fly up a little bit and take their claws and scratch the car...That caused a lot more damage. You stupid birds.

Feathers in the Peacock and Featherless is the Peahen.

Anyway, that has been our crazy weekend. Hope yours was just as eventful!

Love always, The Ginger
